The song ‘Spillin’ My Guts’ was written about Corey’s ex-girlfriend, Rebecca. Therefore, it is unlikely that the band will make use of the song again.

The band name, Stone Sour, was named after an alcoholic drink of the same name. Joel originally found the name on a drink menu.

Lyrics to the song ‘Simple Woman’ would often change when performed live.

The first song ever written was called ‘Little Girl’.

The SuperEgo album will not be re-released. The tracks were not meant to have been leaked.

The band occasionally performed a cover of the ‘Juicy Fruit’ jingle live, lasting only about 40 seconds long. The band also played a cover of The Jeffersons TV theme at some shows.

A demo was said to have been recorded in 1999, consisting of 5 tracks. The demo never saw the light of day.

A live Stone Sour recording of a cover of ‘Creeping Death’ (written by Metallica), performed at Runway in 1994, was played whilst the band’s equipment was being set up at Stone Sour’s first London show on 26th Feb 2003.

When Joel brought the riff to Corey, the track now known as ‘Funky Milk’ was called ‘Milk Duds’, after a friend’s cat’s name. Then when the funk bass at the beginning was added, it became ‘Funky Milk’.
